“California Adds the Most Construction Jobs and D.C. Adds the Highest Percentage Year-over-Year While Florida Experiences Largest Annual Decline and Alaska Has Largest Percentage Drop in Construction Jobs.” The article states that public cuts in construction offset gains in private construction. Frankly, I’d rather have all the growth come from the private sector. That’s a sure-fire sign that the economy is on the upswing. And yes, I know that only government builds roads and other infrastructure. And that there are only 50 states. And that you can’t have half of 57 states.
